Born and raised in Gary Indiana, Al Fuentes has over 25 years of experience as an entertainer, producer, and creative director.  His love for the industry started in high school where he performed in several theatrical productions such as “West Side Story” and “Jesus Christ Superstar”.   His passion for the arts continued onto Robert Morris College performing in “Rex”, at the same time searching for his place in the entertainment industry.  “I was young and full of energy, I knew I wanted to perform in front of big crowds, but I just needed an opportunity”, he says. 

 

In 1991 Al Fuentes auditioned for the first ever entertainment interactive squads for the World Champion Chicago Bulls called “The Incredi-Bulls”.  This opportunity would change his life forever.  Today Al Fuentes has worked in the sports industry for close to 30 years.  He currently works with the Orlando Magic entertainment team the “Blue Crew” as a lead and instructor.  He has performed all over the world including England, Japan, Turkey, Germany, France, Italy and even Dubai. 

 

This experience led Al Fuentes to create High Voltage Extreme Entertainment and DJ Services.  A full service talent and special event production company.  High Voltage is known in the industry as “The leaders in Urban Entertainment” for some of their original acts including urban break dancers, bucket drummers, street tappers (hoofers) and even graffiti artist.  Today the company has expanded to include all types of talent such as bands, harmony groups, stilt walkers, jugglers and even DJ services.  “Our goal is to provide a professional and extreme experience for each of our clients”.  Some of High Voltage credits include:

 

Ellen De Generes Show, casted and created the opening segment for the show including break dancers and hip hop dance choreography.  Provided back up dancers for Atlantic records artist “Flo-Rida”.

 

ABC Monday Night Football Opening, casted and creative director.  Provided urban break dance team and acrobats to perform in this NFL production.

 

Americas Got Talent, casted and produced talent.  Provided Urban break dance team “Street Breakz” and urban percussion show “Street Beatz” to perform on this NBC production.

 

Disney’s “Stitches Supersonic Celebration”, consultant, choreographer, and producer to provide talent, knowledge, and experience.

 

Disney’s “Mickey’s America’s Streetbeat”, provide full cast, choreography, and producer.  Casted break dancers, tap dancers, and bucket drummers to perform.

 

Don Francisco “Te Invita”, provided, casted, and produced  several  talented acts to perform on Telemundo’s original tv show.

 

NBA Halftime Shows, has provided half time acts to the National Basketball Association all around the country including the Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz, L.A. Clippers, Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Pelicans, Orlando Magic and the New York Knicks.
